Anodic Oxidation With Pro Aqua Diamond Electrodes |
The anodic oxidation technology is brand-new; its potential has only been recognized with the development of diamond electrodes. |
It is an electrochemical oxidation process that directly uses the untreated water as electrolyte – and this is exactly what makes this process so special. The plastic base is coated with boron-doped diamonds. |

This coating serves as an active conductive surface inhibiting anodic oxidation, which only occurs at a potential exceeding 2 V.
This effect results in the formation of oxidizing agents such as ozone (O3), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), hydroxyl radicals (OH-) etc., which then encounter the organic contaminants in the fluid and decompose them into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) while preventing the formation of microorganisms (disinfection). |
